The upright piece is easier to look after on a stable sideboard away from passing traffic, where the piece is not exposed at the front edge. Keep the white gypsum tower separate from harder stones and metal items with enough room to handle it safely. For this upright piece, do not use the tower as a bookend because the piece is decorative rather than a bookend. The tower works best where the complete base or length is supported where its natural markings remain easy to see.
About the natural stone: The supplied the tower will resemble the listed design, although how the upright form looks under side lighting will remain unique. Camera distance can exaggerate fine lines on the mountain, so the listed shape, colour and finish should be used for comparison.
Handling and cleaning: To remove ordinary dust from the tower, clean the base separately instead of sliding the tower; avoid rough cloths, liquid cleaners and soaking. After it is handled, return the mountain in a lower cabinet if the piece is tall and avoid direct heat or regular condensation.
