Keep the lamp in a desk corner that is not used for paperwork so the crystal can be viewed without moving the fitting. Before touching the natural selenite lamp, use a dry cloth around the fitting because the crystal body is not a carrying handle. With the natural selenite lamp switched off, keep the lead loose and lift from the base and stop using it if any part becomes wet.
