For everyday display, place the upright piece in a display cabinet that can take the full height, where the tower can be lifted from the lower section. The upright form shows changes in the stone from the base to the upper edge, and it is sensible to lift it from the lower section and support the base instead of holding only the top. Lift the piece before turning it because the tower should be lifted before it is turned.
Each one is different: Within the shape of the cathedral mineral spires, small finishing marks may remain visible, which is normal for natural selenite. The supplied cathedral mineral spires will not show the same marks around every edge because the mineral pattern changes naturally.
Handling and cleaning: When the mountain needs cleaning, lift the tower before clearing grit from underneath; a soft mineral does not benefit from strong pressure or abrasive cleaning. When the display is rearranged, return the mountain without books or fabric beneath the base so harder materials cannot rub against the selenite.
