For everyday display, place the tea light holder on a clear shelf with open space above it, where the flame can be seen at all times. The flame may make the inner bands look warmer, while the outer surface remains pale, and it is sensible to use the listed candle type and keep the wick centred rather than pressed against the stone. Use only a candle that sits securely in the recess because larger candles may sit too close to the rim.
Natural variation: The supplied tea light holder bundle will not look completely uniform from every side after cutting and polishing. The natural stone in the raw tea light holder will not repeat the internal lines of another piece because the mineral pattern changes naturally.
Looking after it: When the candle holder bundle needs cleaning, use a soft dry brush around the candle recess; a soft mineral does not benefit from strong pressure or abrasive cleaning.
