layered-staircase-mineral-skyscraper-1
Layered Staircase Mineral Skyscraper

What stands out on the layered staircase mineral skyscraper is the balance between a skyscraper-style form and vertical fibres and clearer sections running from the base upwards. It is listed at 20cm in height and is made from selenite.

Product notes

Material: Selenite

Colour: White

Approximate size: 20cm in height

Design: Skyscraper-style form

Rather than moving it regularly, leave the upright piece on a low shelf where the base sits completely flat so the base is easy to check for trapped grit. Keep the skyscraper separate from harder stones and metal items and lift it rather than sliding it. Keep the layered staircase mineral skyscraper in the same protected display position so it is less likely to be knocked. For this upright piece, keep the base away from grit and small hard particles—grit under the base can cause marks.

Natural variation: Natural variation in the skyscraper stone piece is likely to appear in the exact balance of white bands from base to top. On the selenite skyscraper, colour can gather more strongly in one section, without changing the listed design.

Looking after it: Remove loose grit before the piece is returned to the shelf; for the skyscraper stone piece, jewellery dip, chemical cleaner and cleaning spray are unsuitable for selenite. For longer storage, leave the skyscraper stone piece in one settled position between cleanings with enough room to lift it again without scraping an edge.

Delivery Information

Thanks for placing an order with us.

We usually have everything packed up within a day or two.

Most parcels turn up about 3 working days later.

Everything is well packed.
